Microshading |Powder Ombre |Hybrid Ombre

This technique mimics the ‘effect’ you achieve when you use a brow powder or pencil. It offers a more defined appearance as the pigment is applied using a machine and a technique that covers the brow area from the inner brow through to the tail. It adds depth, definition, and results in a more ‘makeup tinted’ look. Powder/Ombré brows can be as dramatic or as natural as your prefer.

Powder/Ombré brows heals best on most skin types including oily skin, last longer than microblading, and required less upkeep.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ’s)

Do you use clean needles?

Yes. Your safety is our top priority. Every client is treated with a brand-new, single-use needle. All needles are opened from sterile, pre-packaged casings in front of you at the start of your appointment and safely disposed of in a medical-grade sharps container immediately after use.

Can I get my brows redone if I’ve had previous work?

It depends on a few important factors:

  • Color Saturation: Previous pigment must be faded at least 70%. If the brows are too saturated, new pigment will not show properly.

  • Scarring: Scar tissue can affect how pigment is absorbed. Eligibility depends on the type and severity of scarring.

  • Shape: If the current shape is too dark or uneven, removal may be required before correction.

We recommend booking a consultation to assess your brows and determine the best approach.

What Does the Healing Process Look Like?

Healing typically takes about 7–10 days.

  • Days 1–4: Brows will appear darker and more defined than expected

  • Days 4–7: Light flaking may occur as the skin heals

  • Weeks 3–4: Pigment gradually resurfaces and softens into the final result

It’s completely normal for the brows to appear lighter or patchy during healing. Final results are visible after about 4 weeks.

Once healed, you can expect:

  • Color to soften by approximately 30–40%

  • Thickness to reduce slightly for a more natural look

Does it Hurt?

While the procedure can take up to 3 hours, most clients experience only mild pressure or slight discomfort. Thanks to the use of a numbing cream, it is typically less painful than a traditional tattoo. Pain tolerance varies from person to person, so some sensitivity should be expected.

How long does permanent makeup last?

The longevity of permanent makeup depends on several factors, including skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Frequent sun exposure can cause faster fading, and the use of strong exfoliating products such as glycolic acid or retinoids may also impact results. We provide expert guidance to help you properly care for your enhancement and maintain long-lasting results.

Maintenance tips

To keep your brows looking fresh, a touch-up is recommended approximately every 12–18 months. This maintenance session helps reinforce the shape and restore pigment.

Once fully healed, proper skincare is key to preserving your results. Applying sunscreen to the brow area can help minimize fading. While permanent makeup is long-lasting, it will gradually fade over time—often faster than traditional eyebrow tattoos due to the lighter pigment application. Most clients will require a full refresh around the 2-year mark.
